ZayDM Affiliate Program Terms
Last updated: 4 October 2026
These ZayDM Affiliate Program Terms ("Affiliate Terms") govern participation in the ZayDM Affiliate Program ("Program").
By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to these Affiliate Terms, together with ZayDM’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If these Affiliate Terms conflict with the Terms of Service on a matter specifically related to the Affiliate Program, these Affiliate Terms control for that affiliate-related matter.
These Affiliate Terms are intended to describe the current Program rules. They may be updated as the Program evolves.
1. Eligibility
To participate in the Program, you must:
- have a ZayDM account
- be legally capable of entering into these Affiliate Terms
- submit accurate application information
- select an eligible Instagram account already connected to your ZayDM account
- comply with these Affiliate Terms and applicable laws
A paid ZayDM subscription is not required to apply.
There is no minimum follower count required to apply.
ZayDM may approve or reject an application at its discretion.
Approval is not guaranteed.
2. One affiliate profile
Each ZayDM user may have one affiliate profile.
During application, you must select one eligible Instagram account already connected to your ZayDM account.
If approved, the Instagram username associated with that account becomes your public referral code without the @ symbol.
Example:
@your.username → your.username
Your referral URL may use a format such as:
https://zaydm.com/?ref=your.username
In V1, the approved Instagram account and referral code cannot normally be changed after approval.
You must not select or use an Instagram identity that you do not own, control, or have authority to use.
3. Approval and activation
Submitting an application does not activate affiliate tracking.
Your affiliate referral link becomes active only after ZayDM approves your application.
ZayDM may request additional information before approval.
ZayDM may reject, suspend, or terminate participation if it reasonably believes an account is fraudulent, misleading, abusive, ineligible, or otherwise inconsistent with these Affiliate Terms.
4. Referral attribution
The standard referral window is 60 days.
A referral may be attributed when:
- a visitor arrives through a valid affiliate referral link or other valid tracked affiliate referral,
- the referral remains valid within the applicable referral window, and
- the visitor creates a new ZayDM account.
ZayDM uses last-valid-click attribution before signup.
If a visitor has multiple valid affiliate interactions before signup, the most recent valid affiliate click controls attribution.
Attribution becomes locked when the user signs up.
Existing ZayDM users cannot be retroactively attributed to an affiliate.
ZayDM’s internal attribution records control in the event of a dispute, subject to correction of clear technical errors.
5. Self-referrals
Self-referrals are prohibited.
You may not earn commission by referring:
- yourself
- another account you own or control
- an account created primarily to generate affiliate commission
- another person where the transaction is structured primarily to bypass the self-referral rule
ZayDM may reverse commissions, suspend participation, or terminate an affiliate account for attempted self-referrals or attribution manipulation.
6. Commission rate
Unless a different rate is explicitly assigned to your affiliate account, the standard commission rate is 30%.
The commission rate applies to qualifying subscription revenue from eligible referred customers.
Commission rates may be expressed internally as a percentage or equivalent basis-point value for accounting accuracy.
7. Commission period
For an eligible referred customer, the standard commission period is 12 months from that customer’s first qualifying paid subscription invoice.
The commission period does not begin at referral click or account signup.
It begins when the referred customer first generates qualifying paid subscription revenue.
Once the applicable commission period ends, later payments from that customer are not commissionable unless ZayDM has expressly provided different terms for that affiliate.
8. Qualifying revenue
Commission is calculated from actual successfully paid subscription revenue that qualifies under the Program.
Unless otherwise stated, qualifying revenue is calculated:
- after discounts
- excluding separately collected taxes
- before payment-processing fees
Payment-processing fees charged to ZayDM do not reduce the affiliate commission base.
Example:
If the normal subscription price is $30, a $10 discount is applied, and $1 of tax is separately collected, the customer may pay $21.
The qualifying commission base would be $20.
At a 30% commission rate, the commission would be $6.
9. Non-qualifying amounts
Amounts that may be excluded from qualifying revenue include:
- separately collected taxes
- fully refunded amounts
- refunded portions of partially refunded payments
- fraudulent payments
- chargebacks
- reversed payments
- payments that fail or are never successfully collected
- amounts not associated with an eligible referred customer
- transactions determined to violate these Affiliate Terms
ZayDM may correct accounting errors where necessary.
10. Discounts and promotions
Commissions are calculated from the amount of qualifying subscription revenue actually paid after discounts.
Affiliates may not create, publish, distribute, or represent unauthorized ZayDM coupon codes, discounts, promotions, or offers.
If ZayDM provides an approved promotional code or campaign, you must follow the conditions attached to that promotion.
11. Refunds and partial refunds
Affiliate commission follows the underlying qualifying revenue.
If a referred customer receives a full refund of commissionable revenue, the related commission may be fully reversed.
If a referred customer receives a partial refund, the related commission may be reduced proportionally.
ZayDM may record these changes as separate adjustments rather than modifying the original commission record.
This preserves the original financial history.
A refund does not automatically cancel a customer’s ZayDM subscription.
Refund and subscription cancellation are separate billing actions.
12. Chargebacks, reversals, and clawbacks
If qualifying revenue is later lost because of a chargeback, reversal, fraud determination, or similar event, ZayDM may reverse or offset the related affiliate earnings.
If the affected commission has not yet been paid, the amount may reduce pending or available earnings.
If the affected commission was already paid, the amount may be carried forward as a negative adjustment against future eligible earnings.
ZayDM does not automatically debit an affiliate’s external bank or PayPal account for a clawback unless a separate agreement expressly permits it.
13. Review period
Qualifying commissions are subject to a 45-day review period.
During this period, commissions remain pending.
After the review period, eligible commissions may become available if they have not been reversed, adjusted, disqualified, or otherwise placed on hold.
The review period exists to account for refunds, reversals, fraud review, chargebacks, and related billing events.
14. Payout threshold
For USD balances, the standard minimum payout threshold is $50 in available earnings.
Pending commissions do not count toward the payout threshold.
Reaching the threshold does not guarantee immediate payment.
Payouts are processed manually in V1.
Balances in other currencies may require manual review because the Program does not currently provide automatic foreign-exchange conversion for payout thresholds.
15. Payout methods
Supported payout method in V1 is PayPal.
Available payout methods may vary by location, operational availability, compliance requirements, or other practical limitations.
ZayDM may add, remove, or change supported payout methods in the future.
16. Payout information
You are not required to provide full payout details when initially applying to the Program.
ZayDM may request payout information once your available earnings become eligible for payout.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate payout information.
ZayDM is not responsible for delays caused by inaccurate, incomplete, expired, or invalid payout details.
For security, sensitive payout information may be stored in encrypted form.
17. Taxes
You are responsible for determining and paying any taxes, duties, reporting obligations, or similar liabilities that apply to affiliate earnings you receive.
ZayDM may request tax, identity, or compliance information where reasonably required before processing a payout.
Nothing in these Affiliate Terms constitutes tax advice.
18. Affiliate disclosures
You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship wherever required by applicable law, platform rules, or advertising standards.
Disclosures must be clear and reasonably visible.
You must not hide or obscure the fact that you may receive compensation from referrals.
Examples may include statements such as:
"I may earn a commission if you sign up through this link."
You are responsible for determining the disclosure requirements that apply to your promotions.
19. Accurate promotion
You must promote ZayDM accurately.
You may not:
- make false or misleading claims about ZayDM
- promise features ZayDM does not provide
- guarantee earnings, leads, sales, reach, or business results
- impersonate ZayDM or its employees
- present yourself as an official ZayDM representative unless expressly authorized
- create misleading urgency, scarcity, or pricing claims
- misrepresent pricing, discounts, refunds, guarantees, or product capabilities
You may describe your genuine experience and opinions, provided they are not misleading.
20. Spam and prohibited outreach
You may not promote ZayDM through unlawful, deceptive, or abusive spam.
You must comply with applicable email, messaging, telemarketing, advertising, and platform rules.
Prohibited behavior includes:
- unsolicited bulk messaging that violates applicable rules
- automated spam
- misleading direct messages
- deceptive lead collection
- purchased or scraped contact lists used unlawfully
- promotion through compromised accounts
- promotion that violates Instagram, Meta, or other platform policies
21. Paid advertising and brand bidding
Unless ZayDM gives prior written permission, you may not:
- bid on "ZayDM" or confusingly similar brand terms in paid search advertising
- bid on common misspellings or typo variations intended to capture ZayDM brand traffic
- present a paid advertisement in a way that suggests it is an official ZayDM advertisement
- use a domain, subdomain, page name, social account, or ad identity designed to impersonate ZayDM
You may run non-brand advertising that promotes your own content or audience, provided it complies with these Affiliate Terms.
22. Trademark and brand use
ZayDM retains all rights in its names, logos, trademarks, product names, visual identity, and other brand assets.
Your participation in the Program does not transfer ownership of any ZayDM intellectual property.
You may use approved brand assets only for legitimate promotion of ZayDM and only in a way that does not imply ownership, endorsement beyond the affiliate relationship, or official status.
ZayDM may require you to stop using specific brand assets or promotional materials.
23. Coupon, deal, and incentive sites
The Program is not intended for unauthorized coupon stuffing, misleading discount listings, or attribution interception.
Unless expressly approved by ZayDM, you may not:
- advertise nonexistent ZayDM coupons
- publish expired or unauthorized discounts as current offers
- use browser extensions, scripts, redirects, or other methods primarily intended to overwrite another affiliate’s attribution
- place referral tracking without a genuine user-initiated promotional interaction
- offer undisclosed cash-back or other incentives that distort attribution
ZayDM may approve specific promotional or incentive arrangements separately.
24. No sub-affiliate or multi-tier commission
The Program does not currently provide multi-tier, sub-affiliate, or network commission.
You do not earn commission merely because another affiliate joined through you.
Commission is earned only from qualifying referred customer revenue under the rules described in these Affiliate Terms.
25. Referral tracking and cookies
ZayDM may use cookies, referral parameters, visitor identifiers, server-side records, or similar technologies to attribute eligible referrals.
Referral tracking is subject to the ZayDM Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.
Tracking may fail in circumstances such as:
- cookies being blocked or deleted
- privacy tools preventing tracking
- users switching devices or browsers
- invalid or malformed referral links
- technical outages
- a later valid affiliate click replacing an earlier one under last-click attribution
ZayDM cannot guarantee successful attribution in every technical circumstance.
26. Affiliate reporting and customer privacy
Affiliate reporting is designed to protect customer privacy.
Affiliates may receive privacy-safe referral labels, dates, statuses, revenue information, commission information, and related performance data.
Affiliates are not entitled to receive referred customers’ full email addresses, names, payment details, or other unnecessary personal information through the affiliate dashboard.
27. No guarantee of earnings
Participation in the Program does not guarantee any level of traffic, referrals, customers, revenue, or affiliate earnings.
Results depend on many factors outside ZayDM’s control.
You are responsible for your own promotional strategy, costs, business decisions, and compliance obligations.
28. Independent relationship
Participation in the Program does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, franchise, fiduciary, or agency relationship between you and ZayDM.
You participate as an independent affiliate.
You do not have authority to make commitments, warranties, contracts, or representations on behalf of ZayDM.
29. Suspension
ZayDM may suspend an affiliate account while investigating suspected:
- fraud
- self-referrals
- attribution manipulation
- misleading promotion
- spam
- chargeback abuse
- unauthorized coupon activity
- brand impersonation
- policy violations
- security concerns
During suspension, new referral activity may be disabled and payouts may be placed on hold while the matter is reviewed.
Historical records may remain preserved.
30. Termination
ZayDM may terminate participation for material or repeated violations of these Affiliate Terms, fraud, abuse, legal or compliance concerns, or other serious Program misuse.
An affiliate may also stop participating at any time.
Termination may disable the affiliate referral link and prevent new referrals from being attributed.
The treatment of pending or available commissions after termination depends on the reason for termination.
Legitimately earned commissions may remain payable, while commissions associated with fraud, self-referrals, prohibited conduct, or invalid transactions may be reversed or withheld.
31. Effect of termination
Termination does not erase historical accounting records that ZayDM is required or reasonably needs to retain.
Sections concerning payment adjustments, taxes, intellectual property, privacy, fraud, dispute-related records, and other provisions that by their nature should continue may survive termination.
32. Program changes
ZayDM may modify the Program, including:
- commission rates
- commission duration
- referral windows
- payout thresholds
- supported payout methods
- eligibility rules
- attribution rules
- prohibited promotional practices
- available affiliate features
Material changes may apply prospectively from an announced effective date unless a different treatment is required for operational, legal, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
Where practical, ZayDM may provide notice of material changes through the dashboard, website, email, or other reasonable means.
Continued participation after updated Affiliate Terms take effect may constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
33. Program availability
ZayDM may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Affiliate Program.
ZayDM may also limit Program availability by account, location, payment capability, compliance requirements, or other operational considerations.
Nothing in these Affiliate Terms guarantees that the Program will remain available indefinitely.
34. Fraud and abuse
ZayDM may investigate activity that appears intended to manipulate referral attribution, commission calculations, signup identity, payments, or payout eligibility.
Examples include:
- fake accounts
- coordinated self-referrals
- payment cycling
- repeated refund abuse
- automated signup abuse
- stolen payment methods
- affiliate-link hijacking
- cookie stuffing
- unauthorized attribution overwriting
ZayDM may withhold, reverse, or offset affected commissions while investigating or after confirming abuse.
35. Privacy
Participation in the Program is subject to the ZayDM Privacy Policy.
You must not collect, use, disclose, or process personal information obtained through your affiliate activity in a way that violates applicable law, platform rules, or the privacy rights of others.
36. Your responsibility for promotional channels
You are responsible for the websites, social accounts, advertisements, communities, email lists, videos, posts, landing pages, and other channels you use to promote ZayDM.
You are responsible for ensuring that those channels and promotions comply with applicable laws, platform rules, and these Affiliate Terms.
37. Changes to your affiliate information
You are responsible for keeping your account and payout-related information accurate.
Certain approved affiliate identity fields, including the selected Instagram identity and referral code, may be immutable in V1.
If you lose control of the approved Instagram account or believe your affiliate account is compromised, contact ZayDM support.
38. Notices and support
Questions about the Affiliate Program may be sent to:
support@zaydm.com
ZayDM may provide Program notices through the dashboard, account email, website, or other reasonable communication channels.
39. Relationship to other ZayDM terms
These Affiliate Terms supplement the ZayDM Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Your use of the ZayDM product remains subject to those separate terms.
Where these Affiliate Terms address a matter specifically related to affiliate participation, they govern that affiliate-related matter.
40. Entire affiliate agreement
These Affiliate Terms, together with any written affiliate-specific terms expressly provided by ZayDM and the applicable ZayDM Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, form the agreement governing participation in the Program.
If ZayDM provides an affiliate with specific written commercial terms that differ from these standard Affiliate Terms, those specific written terms control to the extent of the conflict.
