The shortest useful path is often the best starting point. Additional steps can support the campaign when they have a clear purpose.
An Opening Message can acknowledge the Story reply and wait for the viewer to tap a button before the remaining flow continues.
For example:
I have the guide ready. Tap below and I will send it over.
This can make the transition clearer, especially when the workflow contains more than one step. It also adds another action, so use it when the campaign benefits from that interaction.
Follow Gate can check whether the viewer follows the Instagram account before delivering the Final Response.
Existing followers can continue to the final content. Non-followers can receive a prompt to visit the profile and confirm after following.
Make the expectation clear in the Story. If viewers were promised immediate access without a follow requirement, introducing one later may create unnecessary friction.
Eligible HTTPS CTA buttons in the Final Response can be tracked with Click Analytics.
ZayDM can report Link clicks and CTR for the tracked automation. This helps you compare how many tracked deliveries resulted in at least one eligible CTA click.
A recorded click does not prove that the viewer purchased, registered, booked or completed another action after reaching the destination.
Smart Follow-Ups can continue eligible Story Reply conversations after the Final Response.
A scheduled follow-up can remind the person about the requested resource or invite them to reply with a question. A No-Click Reminder can be used when an eligible tracked CTA has not been clicked.
Pending follow-ups stop when the person sends a genuine reply. Keep reminders limited, relevant and connected to the original Story request.
