A follower comments GUIDE
ZayDM runs the configured automation when an eligible comment arrives.

Prepare your image, caption, account, and timezone before it goes live.

Note: Configure on an inactive automation draft.
Send a reminder when someone has not clicked your tracked link.
Note: Opening Message enabled; eligible tracked CTA; delays measured after Final Response.
Move a scheduled post to a better time without starting over.
Note: An already scheduled content item and the correct timezone.
Validate the draft, then activate only when the journey looks right.
Note: Draft must pass validation before activation.
Stop an active flow without deleting the configuration.
Note: Soft pause — review again before reactivating.
Ask for account or post insights already available through your connected permissions.
Note: Requires the relevant Instagram permissions and MCP analytics access.

New to ZayDM? Create an account first ↗
MCP connects your assistant to ZayDM’s tools. Your connected accounts, permissions, and product limits still apply.
Ask for an inactive automation. Review the messages, target post, and button before activation. Most configuration changes require the automation to be inactive first.
Say whether to prepare, schedule, or publish. Review the selected account and timezone before committing.
Authorize access with your ZayDM account. You do not give the assistant your Instagram password.
Tool confirmations depend on your AI client. Keep approval enabled for actions you want to review individually.
A little clarity about what MCP does, what keeps running, and where your account fits in.
Ask us a question ↗MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It lets a compatible AI assistant use ZayDM tools to carry out requests, such as preparing a post or configuring a comment-to-DM automation. You describe the task in ordinary language.
MCP helps you operate ZayDM. When you create an automation, ZayDM runs the configured trigger, messages, and follow-up rules. Connecting an assistant does not by itself turn every follower conversation into an AI-generated chat.
Once saved and activated, the automation runs in ZayDM. A scheduled post also stays scheduled after you close the conversation. An inactive draft will not start sending messages just because the chat ends.
ZayDM’s content tools support media upload and URL import workflows for images used in posts, carousels, and Stories. The way you provide a local file depends on your assistant’s file-handling capabilities. Ask it to confirm the media is ready before scheduling or publishing. Attaching a Reel video file in an AI client does not by itself upload that video through MCP.
Yes. MCP works with your ZayDM content and automations. You can open the dashboard to inspect and edit the work your assistant creates.
Your ZayDM plan and connected-account permissions determine what you can use. Your AI assistant may have its own access requirements. Check current ZayDM pricing for plan details, or contact support to confirm MCP availability. If you have several accounts connected, specify which one the assistant should use.
Configure a follow-up for an eligible tracked link in the automation. ZayDM checks the relevant click state before sending, subject to its messaging rules. A file attachment is not the same as a tracked CTA link, and a click does not prove someone read or downloaded the resource. Opening Message must be enabled, and delays are measured from Final Response delivery.
Remove or disconnect the ZayDM connection in your assistant’s settings. Separately pause automations or cancel scheduled posts you no longer want to run in ZayDM. Disconnecting the assistant is not the same as undoing work already saved.
Bring the content. Describe the journey. Prepare it with ZayDM.
